The intern will provide corporate communications support to Regional CEO in the development of Fiscal Year 2014 Metric and Outcome Report and 2015 Goals and Priorities Presentation and PowerPoint. Focus will be in developing content, formatting report and presentation, interviewing, writing, editing to support visual presentation of information. Content will include text and photos for a variety of internal and external communication platforms serving staff and volunteer workforce. Qualifications:Undergraduate Junior or Senior or Master’s Level student majoring in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Publisher and Adobe Illustrator.

Description

The national headquarters of the American Red Cross provides assistance with shaping and leading the organization in our mission and strategic plan. National Headquarters also assists with technical guidance to the many Red Cross units, such as Chapters, Armed Forces Emergency Services Stations and Blood Services regions. These units are responsible for the direct service to the community including disaster response and preparedness, messaging to Armed Forces military and their families, collecting and delivering blood products, teaching health and safety skills and helping reunite families through our international services.
