The Alaska Chapter is looking for a summer intern to support the Chapter operations.
The intern will provide assistance to the Chief Operations Officer in the following areas:
- Volunteer Connection & Recruitment.
- Ensuring deposits are done timely and entered correctly.
- Facilities, real estate, grant reporting and writing, and managing expenses.
- Fleet services, making sure there is a deployment exercise schedule for all vehicles and systems.
Qualificiations: An undergraduate student with a background or major in Business. Knowledge of basic Microsoft is required.

Description
The national headquarters of the American Red Cross provides assistance with shaping and leading the organization in our mission and strategic plan. National Headquarters also assists with technical guidance to the many Red Cross units, such as Chapters, Armed Forces Emergency Services Stations and Blood Services regions. These units are responsible for the direct service to the community including disaster response and preparedness, messaging to Armed Forces military and their families, collecting and delivering blood products, teaching health and safety skills and helping reunite families through our international services.
