About Us

Save the Water™ (STW™) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the world water crisis through excellence in water science research and by forming alliances with organizations, scientists, universities, media, businesses, and governments around the world to promote awareness of water contamination issues.

Volunteering with STW is different from other volunteer experiences as we work in a almost 100% online environment. Save The Water is run like a business and we rely heavily on frequent email communications, meetings held via google hangouts, and collaboration on projects via google drive. Volunteers are held to high standards and deliverable due dates.

Save the Water™ is currently looking for creative and highly motivated Content Publishers/Editors to join our Publishing Department and work closely with Education Department. Put Your Content Editing Skills to Use on Behalf of Your Drinking Water Looking for those who can creatively edit our content. Join our publishing team and help improve our newly designed website by increasing its visibility. You will work directly with the top managers of Save the Water to take our website to the next level. Our goal is to move up the search rankings by giving the proper attention to keywords, internal and outbound links, site architecture and more. Put your skills to work for a good cause while building your portfolio and knowledge.

Desired Skills and Knowledge

• excellent grammar and spelling skills

• an eye for detail and be very accurate in their work

• imagination and good visual sense.

This opportunity is excellent for high school/college students looking to grow their resume/ portfolio and have an interest in education and the environment. No background necessary. Will train once on-board.
