Rotary Club Liaison

For 10 years Charity Music of Michigan has helped cultivate the next upcoming crop of young artists, by providing musical instruments at no charge, to at risk and disadvantaged youth wishing to explore their hidden talents.

Charity Music's cause is aligned with the philanthropic and business objectives of Rotary clubs throughout Michigan, and has a stellar track record of engaging a wide range of major corporations and their employees.

Reporting to the Community Outreach Director, he/she will cultivate, manage and grow relationships with the Rotary Club located in his/her geographis area.

Key Responsibilities

• Inform Rotary Club Members of Charity Music's services through Email & direct contact.
• Represent Charity Music at various Rotary fundraising events.
• Secure Charity Music spaeking engagements at Rotary meetings.
• Identify, initiate, and enhance marketing relationships
• Promote cause marketing partnership through social networking, new media, cause-related marketing partnerships and e-marketing initiatives.

Ideal Experience

Rotary Club membership helpful, but not neccessary.

Creative thinker with the ability to proactively develop new ideas.

Successful experience working with organizations and/or corporations.

Significant relationship building experience in partnership management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly articulate.

Can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.

Personal Characteristics

A superior communicator who shares information readily and concisely; listens as well as gives advice and respects the abilities of others.

Ability to think clearly and creatively.

Willing to ask questions; feels comfortable disagreeing or offering different perspectives in the context of a discussion about the organization.
