Do you have love to give? Kat Connection is in need of volunteers to care for and socialize our cats and kittens. We are looking for volunteers who can give an hour a week to clean the cats' cages, scoop litter, provide fresh water and food, and most importantly give them love and play time. We have morning and evening shifts available in our Baldwin Petco, Franklin Square Petco, Levittown Petco, Carle Place Petco, and Merrick Mutts and Butts locations!

Mission Statement
The mission of Kat Connection is to prevent the euthanization of cats/kittens at local county-operated shelters. This is achieved through Kat Connection facilitating the rescue & adoption of the cats/kittens from these animal shelters. Cats/kittens that are rescued from these shelters are provided with medical attention, including spay/neuter & then placed in forster care, boarding facilities or pet stores until they are adopted.
Description
Many of our cats/kittens that we have up for adoption have been rescued from a local town shelter that may be euthanized due to lack of space. We do realize that not everyone can go into a town shelter. This is the purpose of Kat Connection. We spend time visiting the shelter to get to know the cats that are in need of rescue. They are then pulled, given medical care, spayed/neutered, and are put up for adoption.
