We're looking for businesses, church groups, communities, and student groups who are looking to give back to their community. Please contact us! You guys choose the dates and times, we supply the materials and a qualified homeowner.
Come hangout with energetic volunteers and paint a home for someone in need (elderly, disabled, low income). No skills required, if you can paint within the lines, you're hired!
Projects usually start at 9am-3pm depending on the amount of volunteers. We start with introductions and a brief painting tutorial. Then we start getting messy! It's a great experience and a way to meet new people.
Bring a friend or someone who needs to boost their resume.
Get out of the house, leave Netflix aside, and start doing something for your community!
We cannot paint over wet wood, if it rains the day of or before we will reschedule.

Offers Community Service through care and committment. Operation Paintbrush is funded through Henrico local government, in which we screen low income families or disabled homeowners and assist them with minor home repairs, including painting the exterior. We supply the paint and volunteers free of charge as long as they meet our requirements.
Description
Henrico County’s Community Maintenance staff has put together a program called "Operation Paintbrush". The purpose of this program is to paint the homes of needy citizens who are without adequate resources or family help, and whose homes are in danger of further deteriorating without assistance. Typically, they are senior citizens who can be classified as very low income.
Operation Paintbrush works in coordination with volunteer groups to assist Henrico’s citizens who cannot adequately care for their own homes. Paint projects range from half-day to two-day projects. Sometimes minor repairs are needed, but usually a volunteer group of 10 or more can make the necessary repairs and paint the home within one day. We’ve worked with local businesses such as Altria, NTT Data, and a variety of community organizations.
