We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Hoofs 4 Healing is dedicated to enriching the lives and health of every individual we connect with. From inner city children to Veterans; from active duty military personnel to their family members; from volunteers to those with physical and special needs, cognitive, or emotional disabilities. Hoofs 4 Healing can offer each individual something special through equine assisted activities and education. We use the unique personality, movement, and power of the horse. As well as professional certified PATH International instructors and standards to create a bond between person and horse that enriches lives physically and mentally. We provide equine assisted activities and therapies in a manner that challenges individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential. recognize that our volunteers are our most important resources and value our donors by the work we produce.

Description

Hoofs 4 Healing provides Equine Assisted Activities Therapies and HippoTherapy to special needs persons and disabled veterans. This unique therapy helps physically, mentally and intellectually, based on the needs of the individual. Hoofs 4 Healing has a full time PATH Certified instructor and uses lots of volunteers to be open six days a week, year round, and can offer 2-3 sessions of therapy per client per week. We are striving to offer the most possible impact for our clients. We also offer Summer Camps, and other activities to grow and strengthen the abilities of our special needs clients, as well as integrate these clients with the general population and teach individuals involved that everyone has some special ability and should be accepted and become part of our community and society.
