Have free time during the day? Like working with kids? We are looking for volunteers to help deliver interactive educational programs to students in local schools during the school day and after school. Topics include energy, recycling, and more.
Advanced training is NOT required and curriculum materials provided prior to events. First time volunteers are welcome to shadow experienced volunteers.

Description
EcoAction Arlington is a unique, local, grassroots environmental education and service organization that has served the Arlington community for decades.
We are a small nonprofit, whose mission is to educate, advocate, and act to create a sustainable community by improving our natural environment, encouraging environmentally-friendly behaviors, ensuring environmental justice, and addressing the climate crisis. We promote a greener community by effectively mobilizing our neighbors and business leaders to address issues such as addressing climate change, reducing habitat destruction, and protecting our natural resources.
Our focus on engaging local citizens in environmental stewardship and creating green lifestyles distinguishes EcoAction Arlington from other environmental education and service organizations.
