Medical screeners at a POD, or Point of Dispensing, quickly process and ascertain the needs of individuals during an emergency. Some medical background is preferable although not required. Volunteers should be calm and efficient.
Points of Dispensing sites are temporary physical structures that are set up throughout Comal County and surrounding areas in the event of a public health crisis such as a pandemic or the accidental or intentional release of a toxic agent.

Description
Comal County Public Health is a government agency which provides immunizations, public information and education, and will establish points of distribution for medication in the event of a public health emergency such as a disease pandemic or release of a toxic substance.
