Would you like to learn how to make beautiful cards?...or are you already an experienced crafter? We need helpers to make FUN, LOVING, and CREATIVE everyday Greeting and Birthday cards for our patients. Everyone enjoys a hand made card designed especially just for them. We are looking to create over 100 cards monthly and need many helpers. Volunteer your time and craft from home, school, or work to make our patients feel extra special throughout the year! Or be a part of our Compassionate Crafter team to craft cards.

We usually meet the second to last Wednesday of each month to craft. Call 616-291-9773 or email Marrilee for more details and schedules. (Supplies provided for the onsite sessions)

Description

For over 40 years we have provided compassionate care to those we serve during the end of life's journey. As a leader in hospice care our dedicated staff feel called to support our patients. Our spiritual care staff work with many local faith organizations to deliver spiritually oriented hospice care to patients of all faiths.

Our interdisciplinary team includes medical professionals, social workers, spiritual care and bereavement professionals. Our dedicated volunteers provide companionship, pet and music therapy, personalized notes and reflection pages as well as special event support.
