The Sierra Club is America's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. The New Jersey Sierra Club works to protect New Jersey's environment and the planet.
The New Jersey Sierra Club is looking to revitalize many of their local groups including the Central Jersey Group. This group serves the Mercer County and other surrounding areas including Burlington, Middlesex, Monmouth & Somerset. In the past they have met in and around the Princeton area.
We work on various environmental issues including clean energy, fracking, open space, and recycling issues. We also host hikes and other educational events. If you are passionate about environmental issues and want to get more involved we have great opportunities for you ranging from Executive positions in the group to helping with social media.
