Come out and enjoy Spring and celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at Eastside Recreation Center Pond Clean Up Day. Are you looking for a one day community project for yourself, family or team? Do you enjoy meeting new people? Come help at HHNC and be ready to have fun! Volunteers: Volunteers 10 years old and up are welcome to participate. Volunteers under 14 years of age MUST be supervised by an adult. ALL volunteers under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian. Possible Projects: 1) Repairing and weeding around the pond 2) Cleaning up litter around the pond 3) Light trimming of trees and grasses Projects will be assigned the scheduled work day based on the number of volunteers and the skill levels of the volunteers that day. Required: Arrive promplty to sign-in and receive instructions. All volunteers must sign a waiver form. All volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver form.
