Volunteer opportunities to work with aging and/ or disabled people by providing friendly visitation, telephone reassurance, caregiver relief and errands through Faith in Action programs; assisting to advocate for consumers with complaints of long term care facilities or services by assisting the Ombudsman; by assisting the Supervisor at one of several senior senters operated by the agency; or as a health insurance counselor to Medicare recipients through the Apprise program. Adult volunteers welcome and training will be provided as needed.

Description
Our agency is designated by the State of Pennsylvania to administer human service programs at the local level. Our goal is to provide opportunities and services to older adults (age 60 and older, unless otherwise noted) to promote their best possible well-being.
