Crossroads Hospice

Use your passion for the written word to help a senior create a Life Journal. This Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care program matches a volunteer with a patient who wants to tell their story. The Journal will validate the patient's life and be a treasured item for family after the patient's passing. Volunteers generally make 2-3 visits to the patient and family, conducting interviews. The rest of the work can be done from your home computer or one at our office in Gladstone MO. Volunteers enter the patient's history, stories and upload pictures to our custom program. The Journal is then professionally printed and bound free of charge for the patient. If you would like to help a senior leave a legacy, contact Kathy Fetters, Volunteer Manager, at 816-389-5426 or kathy.fetters@crossroadshospice.com.

Mission Statement

Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care is committed to being at the forefront of the hospice care industry, to continually shape the way palliative care is viewed and administered so that everyone can expect more from us.

Description

Expect More From Us. We Do. Why not? That's a question we ask ourselves every day. In fact it is the question responsible for our beginning and has made us what we are today. Because "why not?" helps us find new and better ways to deliver hospice care to patients, families, caregivers, and health care professionals alike. It helps us connect with our communities, share our knowledge, be accessible 24/7, innovate, lead, and raise the bar. In fact "why not?" has helped us create a hospice experience we believe is second to none...and are confident you'll agree.
