Respite programs provide the caregiver (non-paid person caring for an elderly and/or ill person) with a brief break. A non medical model.
Description
Respite program allow for socialization and recreation to those needing a little extra assistance, and give caregivers the time the need to refresh and revitalize. Person that might otherwise be precluded from attending the local senior center, and enjoy a meal that is shared with friends.
