Currently, our in-person volunteer opportunities are limited due to COVID-19. We are able to have a maximum of 8 8volunteers in our kitchen to cook dinner or breakfast and 6 volunteers to prepare lunch.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provides support services for families with critically ill children who are being treated at Richmond-area hospitals. RMHC of Richmond is looking for groups of volunteers to provide home cooked meals and cookies for families staying at the house, as well as lunches that are delivered to the hospital. All food ingredients must be purchased by the volunteer and prepared in our kitchen. Volunteers may alternatively purchase pre-cooked food from a store and bring it as well. Volunteers will not be serving the food to the families, nor expect to interact with families residing at the house.
