The Area Agency on Aging is seeking volunteers to visit with frail elders while their caregivers are absent from home. The "Senior Buddy" volunteer can expect to spend 3-4 hours with a senior occasionally to allow his or her caregiver to re-charge their emotional battery with time away from their care responsibilities. Requirements include registration with the Area Agency on Aging as a volunteer and attendance at a half-day training class. The training will be hosted in April. Please see the dates below.
