New Beginning Center provides support to families who have experienced domestic violence by providing a variety of services including a 24 Hour Emergency Hotline. Volunteers respond to Hotline calls at the Shelter with crisis counseling and referral information for victims of family violence. (All volunteers would receive proper training on how to respond to the different situations they may be faced with during their time volunteering). When not answering calls, these volunteers may work with families at the shelter helping with activities and providing support for the clients.
