The Education Department facilitates programs and activities to help people progress towards seeing themselves as ocean stewards who are inspired, informed and empowered to take action and to mobilize others. We envision a world in which people understand their connections to the ocean and participate as members of a community of stewards who act to protect the blue planet.

Our educators reach more than 35,000 school age children a year through programs both on-site and in the community. We deliver more than 10 different programs ranging in topics from tidepool animals to fisheries management.

Position Description

-Enter data gathered from handwritten or typed sources into MS Excel and/or Access

-Periodically transcribe written notes or audio files

-Other tasks as needed to support the daily operations of School and Community Programs

Skills/Qualifications:

-Basic data entry skills

-Familiarity with MS Word and Excel required, familiarity with Access preferred

-Ability to work independently in an office environment
