Join the American Lung Association in Arizona for its annual Fight For Air Walk! Be a part of the behind-the-scenes effort to make a great day for the companies and families who have raised money and come out to walk. Volunteers will do things such as: help set-up, man water stations, register participants, cheer on participants, help with clean-up and more.
Participants have been working hard to build their teams and raise money. The Walk is the party that we throw to celebrate their success together. Come and be a part of our party!
Shifts are flexible throughout the event. This is a great opportunity for students looking for community service hours, corporate volunteer groups, individuals, and families.

Mission Statement
The American Lung Association in Arizona is working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. Our four focus areas are asthma, air quality tobacco control and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Description
Founded in 1904, the American Lung Association is the oldest voluntary health organization in the country. The American Lung Assocaition in Arizona was founded in 1912, initially as an organization to help combat tuberculosis. Times have changed and a cure for TB has been found, but lung disease is the third leading cause of death in America today. That's why it's vital for the ALAA to continue to fight against this disease.
