his position is located on the campus of Daraja Academy in central Kenya. A journalistic background is preferred, and excellent writing skills are necessary, as the intern will be reporting on various aspects of school life. A candidate with a strong work ethic and the propensity to be a self010starter will be successful in this role. This is an excellent way to gain international nonprofit marketing experience while learning about the education system in Kenya. Most importantly, you get to live and interact with the inspiring students who make Daraja so special. The communications intern is responsible for relaying on010campus information and events to supporters abroad, with a major emphasis on social media. Position tasks can include updating social media platforms, preparing packages for student sponsors, and implementing creative marketing campaigns. The intern will report to the Outreach Coordinator in Kenya as well as Daraja’s Ca lifornia office staff (remotely).
