This allows us to determine your area of interest, experience and availability for matching with any open volunteer positions.
Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a non profit 501c(3) located in the East Taunton area whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests to law enforcement dogs nationwide. We conduct physical and online fundraising events and are seeking volunteers to help support our mission in the following areas: 1. Clerical support, including assistance with phone calls and emails (approximately 4-8 hrs weekly) 2. Posting events online (may be done at volunteers home location after training) 3. Volunteering at events 4. Professional photographer for events 5. Graphic design of event flyers . Since our inception in 2009, we have proudly provided over 1700 vests in 49 states through the generosity of corporate and private sponsors.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit whose mission is to provide bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs of Law Enforcement and related agencies throughout the country.
Description
Since 2009, our organization has donated:
- More than 4,481 K9 ballistic vests
- 1,800 K9 opioid reversal NARCAN Kits
- More than $218,000 of K9 medical insurance premiums through our Healthcare for K9 Heroes program
- Over $93,000 in K9 medical first aid kits
- Three Chevy Tahoe patrol vehicles custom fitted for a K9 Unit valued at over $50,000 each
- One Advanced Canine Medical Trainer (K9 Diesel) a full-body state-of-the-art skills trainer for canine first responders that simulates active breathing, audio queues and over 28 different features and medical intervention sites at $62,000
All of our programs are made possible with funds raised through contributions, grants and fundraising events.
