The Menlo Park Library is recruiting volunteer tutors for our free adult literacy program.
Volunteer with us! Help an adult English language learner improve their reading, writing and speaking skills with one-on-one tutoring.
Tutors and learners meet in person or remotely using Zoom, FaceTime, or a teleconferencing tool of their choice and commit to an hour of tutoring a week for a minimum of six months.
We are seeking volunteer tutors who reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Mission Statement
The Menlo Park Library is our city’s focal point for information, learning, and culture. We enrich people’s lives through our collections, programs, and expertise.
Description
The Menlo Park Main Library and Belle Haven Branch Library are part of the Peninsula Library System, which includes libraries throughout San Mateo County in California. Our libraries are equally accessible to people of all interests and ages as they develop and apply new knowledge.
We serve at the heart of every home, providing community gathering places that are resourced to meet the information, reading, learning,
literacy and special needs of our community. We build a community of readers and learners. Our programs and services are available within the library and throughout our city: in homes, markets, cafes, workplaces, and digital platforms.
