Our Gift Shop may just be the right fit for you!
Great customer service is valued by this shop as it serves our residents, families and many visitors. Shop volunteers also make sales using cash resister - training is available and easy! Trainees also work with another shop volunteer until comfortable with the register.
This is not your typical shop! Not only does the shop provide a place that our residents enjoy to stop by just to chat but also provides support to them through the shop's proceeds.
Available shifts are Saturday or alternate Sundays 12-4 Substitutes also needed.

Regardless of their level of independence, health or financial circumstances, we strive to help all seniors enjoy the richness and fullness of life. A vital element in carrying out this mission of Abundant Life (R) is the volunteer from the outside community who comes to serve our elders.
Description
Volunteers at Passavant Community help residents experience an Abundant Life(R) while also enjoying being a part of this friendly community. Passavant is located in the beautiful and historic town of Zelienople, PA. just 30 miles north of Pittsburgh. We are faith-based and non-profit and have served elders for over 100 years. Our community consists of more than 600 residents living on 42 beautiful acres in cottages, apartments, personal care apartments and nursing care.
Passavant Community is rated as a 5-star nursing home by the Federal Government's Center for Medicare and Medicaid Studies. While we are proud of that rating, we are equally proud of the friendly community atmosphere of our retirement community.
