You can inspire a love of reading in Head Start Children as a Reading Buddies volunteer. By reading one-on-one with Head Start children you can ensure they will be ready to succeed in Kindergarten. Reading Buddies generally volunteer once a week for an hour, but schedules can be flexible. A background check, proof of a recent physical, and orientation are required.
