Sam's Hope is seeking a reliable person with an SUV, Pick -Up Truck or Van
- Pick up pet food donations in NE Philly, 19115, and
- Deliver to our storage facility in Warminster, PA, 18974.
Pick up in NE Philly every other week. Day is flexible but must be able to pick up during business hours (9 AM - 3 PM) and deliver to our storage facility in Warminster, PA.
Volunteer must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Time involved is approximately 1 - 2 hours every other week.
Must be available during business hours on weekdays.
Since we began operations on July 1, 2013, Sam's Hope has distributed 80,000+ lbs. of pet food via food pantries, support programs, other organizations and directly to individuals.4000+ pets in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties benefited from our Pet Food Assistance Program.

Our Mission is a Simple One: To save the lives of companion animals by keeping them out of shelters and with their families. We achieve our mission through the following programs:. Sam's Hope Pet Food Program - providing pet food assistance to individuals, via food pantries, and other organizations. Sam's Hope Vet Care Program - providing veterinary care grants to qualified applicants. Molly's Mission - providing short term foster care for pets of the elderly, disabled and ill.
Description
Sam's Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of companion animals by keeping those facing economic and health challenges, and their pets together through food, veterinary, and other assistance programs.
Founded in 2013, Sam's Hope was inspired by the founder's beloved dog Samantha, and her awareness of the current economic climate which forces many pet owners to surrender or abandon their pets.
