We are looking for many volunteers! We have shifts a small as 5 hours. Or you can do more if you would like.
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION
You would be selling NASCAR merchandise such as shirts, hats, pins, programs and bumper stickers. Everything is provided and you would have other volunteers with you who have done this many times before, you won't be in it alone.
How this helps us?? We receive a % of our total sales for the food pantry.
Black pants, capris or shorts (no shorter than 3 inches above your knee) are needed/preferred. We provide your work shirt, a polo from the Racetrack for your shift.
Must be able to count money and items and communicate well with people from all walks of life.
Monday Sept 1st (LABOR DAY) 10am-6pm
Friday Sept 5th and Saturday Sept 6th
8am-1pm
1pm-6pm
4pm-9pm
6pm- midnight. Saturday if you would like to stay later to help us finish inventory that would be great.
Once you sign up and we get your information we will send out a email with exact details of where you will report to and how to get your workers pass.
Parking is Free, but you will have to park in public parking, many times if you choose to work a later shift this means you will be walking a long distance, unless you flag down a trolley to bring you to the track. What we recommend is coming early and taking part of all the FREE events they have going on, you won't be bored that's for sure.
We do suggest you pack a lunch unless you want to eat at the race track.
If you have any questions please contact us, we would love to have you volunteer your time to help us raise money for many different things we do throughout the year with our Food Pantry, Community Life Church, and Second Chance Ministries Nicaragua.
It is always a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people and make new friends!
We must have your information no later then August 15th.---- The deadline has passed to get a free pass but we still need volunteers and we can ask for passes but no guarantees
