Jalen's Gift Foundation Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Our services and Mission

Jalen's Gift Foundation mission is to assist families after the devastating effects of infant mortality. Our organization provides financial assistance to cover memorial cost and provide our local hospitals care packages so a family does not walk out empty handed after a loss. We also offer grief support and remembrance photography to capture life time memories for the grieving families.

We receive a few calls a week from a family that has lost their baby and are in need of our services. We know first-hand the excruciating pain of losing a baby and that is why we wanted to provide a place for comfort and hope.

We are a 501(3) (c) non-profit organization. There is a need for our services in our community. We receive 1-3 calls a weeks from families needing our services. We are looking for a volunteer grant writer to help us continue to help other families in need. We truly believe that no family should have to cremate of bury their child.

If you would like to support our mission please contact us!

Mission Statement

Jalen's Gift Foundation is dedicated to assisting parents grieving from the devastating effects of infant mortality. JGF wants to ease the process by providing financial assistance, emotional support, informational resources on pregnancy and infant loss, and provide a memorial keepsake to the suffering families.

Description

Jalen's Gift Foundation was founded by Jerome and Gabriela Foster after the loss of their son, Jalen Gabriel Foster on November 27, 2012 due to Group B Strep at 25 weeks gestation. The lack of support and resources in the community inspired both parents to make a difference in the community by providing comfort and hope after pregnancy and infant loss.
