Beacon Hospice is looking for caring and dependable volunteers to spend time with terminally ill patients. Some of the activities include: Companionship, sitting vigil, providing respite for a caregiver, reading books, providing music therapy, pet therapy, reiki, massage therapy. There is a free training beginning Wed., Feb. at 1pm at Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence and will run for 4 weeks.
