Come share your gifts with Grace Hospice!

We are seeking musically talented volunteers to join our team as we focus on providing quality of care that outweighs quantity of days. Volunteering at this poignant time of life is truly the experience of a lifetime.

Sharing music is a cherished gift. It can reignite long-forgotten memories and rejuvenate the soul. Your musical expression can make an impact words can never describe.

Let's partner together and spread joy through song! You'll never find a more appreciative audience. Our patients love old hymns, golden oldies, country, rock n roll, showtunes, blues, rat pack hits, marches, classical pieces, and more... You never know what they might request!

For more information, please contact volunteer coordinator Annette Freese via the link provided.

We truly look forward to meeting you!

About HarmonyCares Hospice

Location:

Mission Statement

Our mission is for each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.

Description

HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana is the first HarmonyCares Hospice in the state and has Nurses, CNA's/Hospice Aides, Social Workers, Chaplains and Volunteers that assist the patients and support their families wherever the patient considers their "home" to be.

The hospice philosophy focuses on comfort care not curative care. The goal of hospice care is for the patient to remain as comfortable and pain-free as possible in their own home or the home of a loved one through the end of life. Hospice care can also be provided in a long-term care facility or an assisted living facility.

Hospice is a philosophy of caring for patients whose medical conditions are not responding to treatment or for those patients who choose not to seek aggressive medical care at the end stage of life. It is a program for patients who are considered terminal and are expected to live six months or less if the disease follows its natural course, although many patients outlive this time frame.

We strive to improve the quality of life for all we serve including our patient's families, their neighbors, and the community they live in. We strive to make an impact with everyone we meet and improve the community as a whole.

Come make a difference with the first HarmonyCares Hospice of Indiana. This is an opportunity that will change your life.
