If you have a dog that has been certified as a pet therapy dog we would love to have both of you join the Remita Health team! Dogs and their owners visit our hospice patients in skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes and private residences. You and your dog can bring joy and happiness to those who are at the end-of-life.
The necessary training and support are provided to ensure that all volunteers, human and dogs, have a satisfying and rewarding experience. Humans must be 18 years or older, dogs can be any age as long as they are certified.
