The Road to Recovery Coordinator oversees the transportation services ensuring that cancer patient request for rides to doctor appointments are met and accurate data is kept.
Responsibilities:
- Helps to assess available transportation
- Receives request for transportation and assigns drivers to fulfill those requests
- Records all transportation services provided and submits to the American Cancer Society Staff partner
- Keeps in touch with American Cancer Society staff partner regarding any patient or volunteer issues or concerns
Approximate time required to fulfill duties is two - four hours
