The Center Foundation is in its 20th year of providing mentoring programs in Delaware County and surrounding counties. A 3 hour training will prepare you to become involved in either of the community mentoring programs of The Center Foundation: WomenCare, for women coming out of challenging life situations, or YPSN, the Young Parents Support Network, a mentoring program for pregnant or parenting teens. Mentors practice goal planning, listening skills and problem solving as they prepare to help another woman or teen parent work towards self sufficiency. Ongoing support is provided by staff once the mentoring match is made.
