Project HEAL Graphic Design Volunteer
Job Description:
- Seeking a volunteer who is highly creative and multi talented with experience in multimedia, marketing and print design
- Passionate and inventive creator of innovative marketing strategies and campaigns
- Accustomed to performing in deadline driven environments - having a flexible schedule to work on projects is extremely important
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign
- Keen appreciation and understanding of the Project HEAL brand/design
- Creative experience in the following areas is needed and helpful
Print - Brochures, Newsletters, Logos, Business Cards, Posters, Postcards & Stationery
Website & Multimedia - Website Design, Video Editing & Video Photomontages
Photography - working with black & white and color photography
QUALIFICATIONS
5AA A passion for Project HEAL’s mission and knowledge and for graphic design
5AA Must be able to commit to 5-10 hours per week and have a flexible schedule
5AA Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
5AA Ability to effectively communicate information to internal and external senior executives, HEAL team members, HEAL Boards members and vendors
5AA Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
5AA Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows NT, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software
- Display strong Integrity, honesty and a willingness to operate as a t eam player

Mission Statement
Project HEAL is a 501(c)3 non- profit organization that provides access to healing for all people with eating disorders.
Description
Since its founding in 2008, Project HEAL has provided over 100 applicants with access to live-saving treatment for their eating disorder, established over 30 Chapters and 25 Ambassadors bringing Project HEAL's mission and values to communities across the United States, and developed partnerships with more than 30 recognized eating disorder treatment providers across the US. The primary function of Chapters is to serve as robust local recovery communities that offer resources for those affected by eating disorders and opportunities to volunteer and make a difference in the lives of those affected by eating disorders.
We are an organization with a large volunteer base and have many volunteer opportunities available year-round. We are always looking for new people who have an interest in and passion for helping others suffering from eating disorders, poor body image, and low self-esteem.
