ELPW is looking for people who can commit to tutor for 2 hours one night a week (Tuesday or Thursday). ELPW provides English language instruction in a unique setting where students are paired with English speaking tutors. Through these small-group classes, immigrants learn English language skills that empower them in their daily lives and assist them in becoming an active part of the local community.

Description

English Language Program of Wisconsin (ELPW) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, incorporated in 2010. ELPW provides opportunities for fluent English-speakers to serve as conversation partners to those with limited English in local immigrant communities. Language learning takes place in small groups of one to three immigrant adults.
