A hand up, not a hand-out: We are a mission that serves the homeless population in Colorado Springs. We are allowed to use the facilities at Legacy Wesleyan Church and our address is 502 N Walnut Street Colorado Springs, CO 80905. We set up every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. and hand out clothes and serve a cooked meal. We are done by 10 a.m. with breakfast. We are in need of volunteers to help hand out clothes and serve breakfast and set up and tear down. We accept donations such as boots, jackets, and other clothing items to share with those in need. Any tax-free donations are appreciated and 100% is being used to purchase clothes. We are an all-volunteer organization. http://morethanameal.org/ is downtown every Saturday sharing breakfast with those who are living on the streets. Please join us and make our community a better place for all. We handout clothes and served breakfast and then share a short scriptural message. We do not force religion but share Bible truths and pray for chains to be broken and the homeless to get off the street.

Mission Statement
Purposefully filling the needs of the community and bringing the message of salvation to those in need. More Than A Meal is a non-profit mobile ministry to the poor and broken in downtown Colorado Springs. Every Saturday we meet at 502 N. Walnut St. 80905 to clothe and feed the homeless. Through His ministry, God has successfully brought together the efforts of numerous parts of His Body throughout the city from church denominations and backgrounds of all sorts, who each come together in love and the unity of the Spirit to feed and provide for the physical needs of the people in our city as well as to meet their spiritual and emotional needs through relationship, prayer, worship, and the sharing of God’s word. Our purpose is to reveal Father God to them right where they are at in life and allow for His Spirit to work through us and more often than not, in spite of us in order to lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Description
We currently meet every Saturday morning at 7:30 am at Legacy Wesleyan Church (formerly Westside First) 502 N. Walnut St. 80905 in downtown Colorado Springs. We invite you to come join us and experience for yourself a wonderful and refreshing move of God’s Spirit that is ministering new life to both those that are serving and those that are being served. We first hand out clothes and toiletries to those in need and before they leave we share a message of salvation with them.
