Social Service workers volunteer their time to attend the meeting in hopes of expanding campaigns aimed at the PREVENTION of child abuse & neglect.
Prevention Council volunteers help to distribute child safety brochures to schools, Pediatrician's offices, youth organizations, etc.

A Children's Advocacy Center serves as a hub for a mulitdisciplanary team put into action to help the child. This involves the police department, social services, medical, mental health, and justice department.
