Mission Statement
"Building multi-sport courts with communities around the world while fostering cross-cultural understanding."
We foster love, compassion, service and an expanding worldview as we take teams to economically disadvantaged areas, partnering with local organizations and community members to build courts which will provide kids with the opportunity to play sports.
Description
At Courts For Kids we lead teams of 15-25 volunteers who are inspired to take a one week trip to a small community in a developing country where they will work along side the local community members to construct a multipurpose cement court, and then play sports with the community.
The goal of our projects is to provide not only a safe avenue for underprivileged kids to play sports but also a life-changing immersion experience for Americans as they work side by side with the local community to build a multipurpose sport court and then play sports. Many times the courts is used as a gathering place for the community.
No construction experience is needed, simply your desire to serve others!
