Parry Center for Clinical Skills and Simulation

We are looking for volunteers to present their own medical history to medical students at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine who practice their interviewing and physical diagnosis skills.

Students practice effective interpersonal and examinations skills to learn how to better communicate with patients. These first experiences for medical students are in a safe environment, in which they can learn from.

These volunteers are crucial to the program’s goals to prepare our future health professionals with the clinical and communication skills necessary to provide excellent medical care.

Individuals who have a chronic condition or past medical history are encouraged to participate!
