Be a supportive resource for a patient and their family at the end stages of life. Let them know they are not alone. Being on the Compassionate Care Team (CCT) involves sitting with the patient at the bedside, providing them with a comforting presence, read to them, or play some of their favorite music to help relieve stress or anxiety. CCT volunteers will need to have the flexibility to visit patients at various hours and days. Looking for dedicated volunteers interested in providing comfort and support for families receiving hospice care.
