The person in this position is to deliver BackPacks to local schools in Cass and Clay counties as part of the BackPack Program. The BackPack Program is a program of the Great Plains Food Bank, effectively fighting childhood hunger. Through this work, he/she fulfills the agency mission, "Guided by God’s love and grace, Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota brings healing, help, and hope."

The Great Plains Food Bank has been a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota for the past 33 years. During that time, we have impacted many lives through the good work of our collaborative social efforts. The Great Plains Food Bank will be transitioning away from LSSND effective July 1, 2016. We are looking forward to ending hunger across North Dakota and Western Minnesota as an independent organization.
