CAC has volunteer reception positions available immediately. The following opportunities are open:
Weekday Morning Receptionist(Hoffman Estates location)- 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Volunteers will get a chance to interact with CAC clients, assist with administrative projects and help with other tasks as needed. We are flexible! If you interested but unable to fulfill all of the hours please contact us. We would be happy to work something out with you.
Saturday Receptionist(Hoffman Estates Location)- Flexible shifts from 9 am until 10:15 starting December 13
Volunteers will greet clients and alert our weekend therapist of client arrival. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a book, a craft, or some homework to work on!

The Children’s Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County is the leading resource to empower and heal abused children and prevent violence against children. We serve 38 communities in the Cook County area and see over 1,000 children and their families each year.
Description
Welcome to the Children’s Advocacy Center of North & Northwest Cook County. CAC provides free, healing services to children who have experienced abuse, allowing them to process trauma and reclaim their childhoods.
The goal of CAC is to provide a multidisciplinary approach to severe physical and child sexual abuse cases. CAC recognizes the special, unique needs of child victims, while demanding accountability for the crime of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse.
A 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, CAC is a fully accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance. CAC provides all services free of charge in both English and Spanish.
