Looking for the right volunteer opportunity for your church group, community club or circle of friends? Lead your team of Do-Gooders to Horizon where we need you to serve as Meals on Wheels drivers & companions to our homecare patients. As a team, you will share a route in the Northern Milwaukee/Ozaukee community once a week from 10:30am - 1:00pm. You will also be reimbursed for gas. Horizon Meals on Wheels Volunteers do much more than deliver a nutritious meal - they deliver a human connection, reassurance, and friendship. Meals on Wheels recipients need people, like you and your team, who have an advocacy for making days brighter with a warm smile, conversation, and even a few jokes. Horizon offers one of the few remaining Meals on Wheels programs in our community. By volunteering, you can help to make sure that people who need our services and friendship continue to be supported.
