Work as a collective to rearrange, organize and beautify ReStore West. Tasks range from heavy lifting to sorting and organizing small items; we can find a task for folks with any level of skill and physical ability. ReStores accept donated building materials, housewares and furniture and resell them to the public with the help of volunteers.

Help us raise funds for Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity and save usable items from a wasteful landfill fate by volunteering at the Habitat ReStore.

Come as an individual or bring a group. Please join us in our mission to eliminate poverty housing in Milwaukee. This event is a way for volunteers not seeking a long term commitment to make a large impact.

*Volunteers interested in working toward the completion of Court Ordered Community Service must fill out a Volunteer Application before starting at the ReStore.

Seeking to put God's love into action, Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Description

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing by working alongside future homeowners and volunteers to build and rehab simple, decent and affordable houses. Milwaukee Habitat also two donation-driven retail stores called the ReStores.

All proceeds from ReStore sales benefit Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity's mission of building simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with families in need. The ReStore is stocked exclusively with donated items such as new and used furniture, appliances, kitchen cabinets, building materials and other home goods.
