Helping at local nursing home
RSVP members serve in a variety of activities in Outagamie and Calumet Counties

RSVP Senior Corps program is very active in the Fox Cities.

RSVP focuses on programs relating to disaster services, building and rehabbing homes, visiting the homebound, providing transportation, tutoring, leading exercise programs and health education groups, recruiting volunteers and especially recruiting veterans and military families.

If any of the above activities spark an interest, let’s get together to explore possibilities. Learn about the opportunity of RSVP at your individual RSVP Orientation session. Staff will match your interests, skills and availability to needs in the community.

Belonging to RSVP is a great way for Baby Boomers and those who are from the Silent Generation to join together using their skills and experience to keep the Fox Cities a great place for everyone!

Description

Make a Difference in Your Community

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
