Some of our patients, that live in their own homes, receive their daily care from a family member or a close friend. Although done with the needs of the loved one in mind, sometimes the caregivers could really benefit from getting a break from their duties. Our Village Hospice volunteers can provide such a relief. No actually patient care is provided, just companionship. For more information call 816-347-2578.

Mission Statement
The mission of the volunteer services department is to provide volunteer opportunities in which individuals may contribute and utilize their talents, grow with new experiences and achieve a sense of satisfaction pride and self-worth which will result in supportive services to Village residents, staff and the greater community.
Description
John Knox Village is a Residential Care Community for senior citizens. We consist of Independent Living section, Assisted Living, and the Care Center, or nursing facility.
