If you are an outgoing people person who likes to meet and greet people you could be the right person to help out at our reception desk. Our phones and front doors will have varying degrees of busyness, giving you time to get to know some of the clients who come here for services. You will work with a dedicated staff that will be happy to have you on board to help us meet our mission of helping homeless men and women have their basic needs met. Opportunities will arise to help with dispensing shower supplies to clients, receive donations, and depending on your areas of expertise you may find yourself helping out in the computer lab too.
A certain level of maturity is required for this job, and we ask that you have some work experience, be at least 21 years old, and understand the need for compassion and flexibility in the way you interact with people.
Every volunteer is required to complete an application and a brief interview prior to being assigned to this opportunity. Here is the link to our online application form: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?ap=1190255427
