- Have an interest in caring for older adult patients.
Decrease confusion and loss of independence in older patients by providing bed-side interventions:
- Training Date Scheduled for Saturday Sept 9th, 2017 9am-4pm
- Help re-orient patients to their settings with social visits/conversation.
- Provide cognitive stimulation to patients’ based on specialized training.
- Assist patients with their dietary needs.
- Guide range-of motion exercises and encourage appropriate ambulation.

Volunteers help lift the spirits of patients, families, friends and staff by providing hospitality, patient visits, and participating in special projects. The volunteers are the customer service ambassadors of the medical center.
