Few organizations are as uniquely positioned as Planned Parenthood to engage young women around civic and policy issues and motivate them to get out and vote. Using the new Path to Power national organizing model as a framework, summer Organizers will build Planned Parenthood’s power base throughout Minnesota, engaging activists, empowering volunteers, connecting with patients, and recruiting supporters. This is a great opportunity for aspiring organizers, activists and those wanting to get their food in the door with Planned Parenthood and organizing around reproductive rights. Positions available in Twin Cities Metro, Duluth, St. Cloud and Rochester. 12-15 hours/week, summer 2014. This is an unpaid internship position.
