Compassionate people needed to provide companionship for hospice patients through friendly visits, listening to stories, reading, singing or playing games. Hospice patients may reside in Senior Apartments, Nursing Homes or their own homes. Occasionally, we need volunteers to sit with patients in their home, providing safety while the home caregiver runs errands. Training will be provided in your area.

Description
Enhancing the life of persons facing end-of-life issues does not take many specific skills; yet, a compassionate presence, listening ear, friendly smile and personal touch go a long way toward letting our patients and families know they are cared for. Our patients live in and around the communities of Fort Worth, Mid-Cities, Arlingtno, Grand Prairie, Burleson, Cleburne, Glen Rose and Granbury, either in their own home, Retirement Communities, Assisted Living Facilities or a Nursing Home will benefit was social engagement and companionship.
